The company is now run in the second generation of Lars Sundin, with a focus on dismantling the trucks and machinery. Rackstad Car Parts has over the years evolved to become one of the major players in the Scandinavian market in the removal of heavy trucks.

Damaged vehicles then disassembled purchased from insurance companies in Scandinavia. The used parts are then sold to authorized repairers and fleet operators throughout Europe. 50% of the business consists of exports to repairers outside Sweden.
