The highly exclusive Mercedes-Benz 300 Adenauer series was the standard-bearer for European luxury automobiles throughout the 1950s. Led by the four-door sedan and Cabriolet D models
the range was soon enhanced with the sports-touring 300 S version aimed at the owner-driver
offered in Coupe
Cabriolet
or Roadster form
and powered by an enhanced triple-carburetor inline-six. In 1955
the 300 Sc marked the ultimate touring version of the Adenauer line
with exotic Bosch mechanical fuel injection
giving outstanding performance without sacrificing the refinement and quality that defined Mercedes-Benzs acclaimed flagship
This is one of just 98 Sc Coupes produced
from a total of 200 fuel-injected cars built across three body styles. A gorgeous example
